The arrival of the Georgia Railroad and improved road networks connected Crawford County farmers to larger markets in Macon and beyond. State highways and county roads later reinforced this accessibility. Even today, Musella's identity is closely tied to the transportation of its famed peaches, which are shipped throughout the state and region.

Community life in Musella centers on its agricultural traditions and family-owned businesses. The Dickey Farms packing house, established in 1936, became a community gathering point, where families not only worked but also celebrated seasonal harvests. Churches and schools reinforced the small-town character, making Musella both a place of work and community belonging.

In the present day, Musella is celebrated for its pastoral beauty, peach orchards, and rural charm.
